POSITION REQUIREMENTS
St. Joseph&apos;s Hospital is looking for Nurse Education Specialists to work with departments to determine education support needs. Qualified candidates will be responsible for competency assessment and education for new and experienced staff as well as providing curriculum development, research and publication assistance.

	Minimum Qualifications
	Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing or Education is preferred.  Seven (7) years of related experience to include a minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership experience or nursing educator experience is required.  Related college coursework may substitute for up to (4) years of required experience on an equivalent year-for-year basis.  Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas is required.
