Responsibilities   The Ophthalmic Tech III provides technical ophthalmic and administrative assistance to the medical staff of Doheny Eye Center Pasadena and reports directly to the MSO II (Practice Manager).  The Ophthalmic Tech III is the lead technician and is the central point for overseeing patient care/patient flow for the Pasadena clinics by coordinating the ophthalmic support staff including technicians, imagers, hospital ophthalmic assistants, residents, and fellows. Provide technical assistance to physicians and back up imaging staff, as needed. Assist with special projects as delegated by Practice Manager. Responsibilities The University of California, a national leader in sustainability, has pledged to become carbon neutral by 2025, becoming the first major university to accomplish this achievement. To help UC reach this ambitious goal, UCLA Health will select two UC Presidential Carbon Neutrality Fellows. Both fellows will work under the Sustainability Manager for UCLA Health. These fellows will interact together with the UCLA campus CNI fellows throughout the fellowship. Campus fellows will work under the office of UCLA Sustainability. This is the first year CNI fellows have been approved for the health systems.
